Savvy Treasure Box is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving women veterans who suffer with all stages of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).  Our thrift store sells gently used clothing and accessories at discounted prices.

Our mission is to help ensure the health and well-being of women veterans with PTSD.

Our goal is to raise funds for the Wounded Warrior Project.  The Wounded Warrior Project is a charity and veterans service organization that offers a variety of programs, services and events for those individuals who were wounded while serving in the military.

ABOUT THE OWNER

Sergeant First Class (SFC) Latoya Porter retired from the U.S. Army in 2018 after 20 years of dedicated service.  While in the military, she served as a Human Resource Specialist.  She also had several overseas assignments including tours in Iraq and Korea, and a stint in Germany.  While stationed in Germany, SFC Porter decided to do some travel and traveled to over 20 countries.  SFC Porter has a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources.
